Welcome to the Ale in The Dale Beer Festival Website
Ale in The Dale Beer Festival 2015
Owing to the huge demands required for the Diddlebury Village Hall Lottery Renewal Project the current organiser is unable to run the Ale in the Dale this year.
We would like to express our thanks to everyone who has visited or supported us in any way over the last three, very successful years.
Keep an eye on the site and we may be able to reintroduce our Beer Festival in the future.
On behalf of Diddlebury Village Hall and the whole community we would like to express our gratitude for your extremely generous support of our Ale in the Dale beer festival in May 2014.
We are hugely pleased with the success of now our third event, raising £3,812, thanks in no small way to your generosity for it is only with the financial support of local business and individuals that these community events can continue to be so successful.
As many as 800 visitors, both locals and visitors from further afield, attended over the weekend. They enjoyed the very wide range of beers and selection of music on offer, and we were lucky to have the support of local MP Mr Philip Dunne who opened our festival this year.
Thank you once again for your support of our community efforts to renew our village hall. In November 2015 we received the great news that the Big Lottery Fund have granted us over £570,000 for funding the renewal project. Building work is expected to commence early to mid 2016.
